Learning with the app
Learning apps help with exam preparation, but there is a confusing variety of offers. This comparison shows which ones are good. Download PDF now

If you want to pass the examination for your recreational boating licence, there's no getting around learning. However, this has long been possible using an app on a smartphone or tablet: on the bus on the way to the office or school, in the waiting room at the doctor's or on the sofa in the evening, you can swipe your finger to work through the questions that are asked in the examination for the recreational boating licence for sea and inland waterways. You can see immediately which topics are covered and which are not. The pace of learning can be set individually, and the exam material on the tablet or smartphone suddenly even takes on a playful quality.

However, entering the keyword "Sportbootführerschein See" in the digital shops for apps brings up a confusing array of offers. Many are free, some cost up to 17 euros. But which ones are really useful trainers, and which ones might not be worth downloading? We have taken a close look at six popular apps and their functions.

You can find the comparison of the learning apps for recreational boating licences in YACHT, issue 08/2018, available in the DK shop. Or you can download the comparison directly via the link below.
